Candidate database search
FD Recruitment has a sophisticated client and candidate database that
has been developed and tailored to the specific needs of the recruitment
industry. Our database is updated in real-time for client and candidate
changes ensuring it is always up to date. The database includes both
permanent and temporary staff. By maintaining regular contact with
our candidates, we are also kept up to date which of those are potentially
looking for a career move. We use and maintain a SQL candidate and
client database, which has powerful search and retrieval analysis
available.
Client/ Candidate profiling - ExecMatch Profiling
We have developed our own internal profiling matching software, which
based on certain criteria, will match key candidate attributes required
by the client and key client attributes required by the candidate.
The criteria are based on a combination of financial, role and responsibilities,
personality, location and other critical criteria. Whilst this is
only a tool to aid the recruitment process, it has proven to have
an 87% success rate in terms of candidates actually placed at our
clients.
Search & Selection
This method is normally used when the client requirement is for a
more senior role or the nature of the role is more complex and/or
the nature of the recruitment is confidential. After a full briefing
from our client we will then normally advertise for this position,
by means of direct mail, newspaper/magazine advertisement or web site
advertisements. This has proved to be successful in the past in drawing
up a shortlist of quality candidates.
Team recruitment (Campaign Management)
When you are looking to hire more than one suitable candidate and/or
trying to create awareness for your company's services or products,
we will hold a seminar in which normally both you, the client and
ourselves will co-host and present. We will advertise for the event
and arrange a suitable number of potential candidates to attend. This
forum gives you, the client the opportunity to meet with potential
candidates in a relaxed informal atmosphere and enables you to get
some instant feedback on potential candidates.
Key contacts - Headhunting
Where required, we will use our resources and contacts to target certain
individuals from an mutually agreed list of Companies.

Advertising
We currently place advertisements in the relevant Accountancy press,
newspapers, local print media and internet portals. We have also partnered
with some larger human resources internet portals to further extend
our reach into the marketplace.
Candidate background and reference checking
We will do extensive written and verbal reference checking once a
position has been accepted by a candidate. We normally conduct at
least 2 professional references and one personal/character reference.
Salary Survey’s and news articles
We continually update our website for salary survey’s when they become
available and also any news articles that may be of interest to both
clients and candidates
